Strength(s)
There is considerable emphasis on providing new and different repertoire to help with choir development. This includes offering works by contemporary British composers (Dove, Macmillan, Martland, Davies, Tavener). Urtext or historically-informed edtions are offered either on their own or as an alternative to standard editions. Holdings of the following composers are particularly strong or distinctive: JS Bach, Britten, Handel, Haydn, Purcell, Vaughan Williams. A number of small works by Bantock are held but they are not catalogued.
